Rental Guidelines

CCS is now offering rentals on certain tools and stamps. This will allow DIY customers who may not be interested in investing in these products as well as professionals to obtain rental tools by a more convenient option.


Agreement

By purchasing any rental equipment from Concrete Countertop Solutions (CCS), you agree to adhere to the following guidelines.

Checkout

Add any rental items to your shopping cart and checkout as normal. You will be billed immediately for the rental fee. Once the order has processed, we will put a separate charge on your credit card for the Security Deposit which will range in price depending on the item. Must use credit card at checkout - PayPal prohibited.

Shipping - Continental US only

Items will be shipped UPS Ground for free. Expedited shipping will be available at an additional charge during checkout. All rental orders received before 3pm ET (Mon - Fri) will ship out the same day. Any orders received after 3pm ET or on a weekend will ship the following business day. For your convenience, items will be shipped with a pre-paid UPS return label. Ship times can be estimated from the shipping map below.

Rental Period and Late Fees

All rentals will be for a 7 day period. The time will start the day after the tool is delivered (first full day) and you will have 7 days to get it back to UPS. The time the tool spends in transit will not count against your rental days. There will be a per day charge for every day the item is kept past the allowed 7 days. The charge may range per item and will be listed in the product description. If you are not finished by the 7th day or are not able to get it to UPS on time (before 6pm on day 7), feel free to hold the item longer, but be aware the late fee will be deducted from the security deposit for each day it is late. The remainder of the security deposit will be refunded back to your credit card upon return and inspection of the tool.

Example: The rental item is delivered on a Tuesday afternoon, Day 1 will be Wednesday and you will have until the following Tuesday (7th day) by 6pm local time to make sure the item has been given to UPS. This means brought to a local UPS store, UPS drop box, or given to your UPS driver.

Note: if the rental item is delivered on Friday you will have until the following Saturday to return it but UPS hours of operation will be different on Saturdays and most stores will close before 6pm. In this case you are still responsible to make sure the item is in UPSs possession and on its way back to us by the end of day 7.

Returns

Items must be returned in their original packaging. Once we receive the item(s) they will be inspected for damage or misuse. Packaging guidelines must be followed for return shipments. If items are mispackaged and this results in damage during return shipping, the customer will be responsible for the cost of the repairs. If the item(s) are returned in the allotted time frame in proper condition, the entire security deposit will be refunded to the credit card it was originally charged to. Any late or damage fees will be deducted from the security deposit and the remainder will be refunded back to the renter's credit card. Damage fees will be assessed by CCS. If a tool is damaged beyond repair, the entire security deposit may be withheld.
